Military Family Spotlight

Military life is filled with sacrifices, accomplishments, transitions, and moments worth remembering. From deployments and homecomings to retirements, promotions, PCS moves, and everyday acts of resilience, military families play an incredible role in supporting one another and strengthening our community. The Military Family Spotlight was created to recognize and celebrate those families and individuals who make a positive impact on the military community in Grafenwoehr/Vilseck and beyond. Each month, one military family or service member will be selected to receive a complimentary portrait session and be featured as our Military Family Spotlight. Through photography and storytelling, we hope to honor the people behind the uniforms and preserve the memories that make military life so meaningful.

What Is Included?

Each selected Military Family Spotlight will receive:

• A complimentary 30-minute portrait session

• Your choice of location within 40 miles of the Grafenwoehr training area

• 10 professionally edited digital images

• A featured spotlight on our website and social media channels (with permission)

• The opportunity to purchase additional images or products if desired

There is no cost to participate, and no purchase is required.

Who Can Be Nominated?

We welcome nominations for:

• Active-duty service members

• Military spouses

• Military families

• Retired military members

• Reservists and National Guard members

• Individuals making a positive impact within the military community

**Nominees must be stationed at Grafenwoehr or Vilseck to be selected**

Examples may include:

• Families navigating deployment or reunion

• Service members approaching retirement

• Families preparing for a PCS move

• New military families adjusting to life overseas

• Volunteers and community leaders

• Families overcoming challenges with strength and resilience

Every story matters, and we encourage nominations from all branches and backgrounds.

How the Process Works

1. Submit a nomination using the form below.

2. Share the story of the individual or family and explain why they deserve to be recognized.

3. Nominations are reviewed throughout the month.

4. One recipient is selected and contacted directly.

5. The selected family or service member will schedule their complimentary session and be featured as our Military Family Spotlight.

6. If the selected family or service member declines the offer, the next selected recipient will be contacted.

Recipients are selected based on the stories submitted and the impact they have made within their family, unit, or community. Selections are made at the sole discretion of Samantha Price Photography.
